Summer Camp 2017.

Os comunicamos que ya tenemos fechas y sitio para nuestro Summer Camp 2017.
Será del sábado 1 al viernes 14 de julio de 2017 en el Albergue Perú, en Ontinyent (Valencia).

Podéis realizar la preinscripción durante los meses de diciembre de 2016 y enero de 2017.
El día 1 de febrero empezaremos a admitir reservas por orden de preinscripción.

Camp Diary. Day 6.

Today we got up at 8:30. We had breakfast and then we did an activity to learn about the plants. At 12 we recorded the lipdub again. Later we went to the pool with Kaylan, Adam, Amanda, Vanessa and Sergio.

Hoy nos hemos levantado a las 8:30. Hemos desayunado y después hemos hecho una actividad para aprender sobre las plantas. A las 12 hemos vuelto a grabar el lipdub. Más tarde hemos ido a la piscina con Kaylan, Adam, Amanda, Vanessa y Sergio.

We had salad and spaghetti for lunch. And watermelon for dessert.
After that we had free time. We talked to our friends.
Later we prepared a performance for parents. Then we went to play with Kaylan and Adam.
We had Nutella sandwich for snack. And pasta salad and hamburger and ice-cream for dinner.
The thing we liked most in the camp was: meeting new friends. 
We liked the camp a lot.

Hemos comido ensalada y espaguetis. Y sandía de postre.
Después hemos tenido tiempo libre y hemos estado hablando con nuestros amigos.
Más tarde hemos preparado una representación para los padres. Y luego hemos ido a jugar con Kaylan y Adam.
Hemos merendado sandwich de Nutella. Y hemos cenado ensalada de pasta, hamburguesa y helado.
Lo que más nos ha gustado del campamento ha sido conocer a nuevos amigos.

Last night we played a game, where you had to sign a paper. The monitors had a torch and we went in pairs. We had to write the name of the two people in the paper. I liked it a lot.

The games in the camp are very cool: for example, the first game was cool because the monitors looked for us with a torch so that we didn't take the red and blue stones. I liked this camp, it's cool.

Outdoors adventure: the caves.

Yesterday we went to a cave in the mountain. It was called la Cova de la Sarsa, and it was in Bocairent (Valencia).
We got ready to go in. We wore overalls and a helmet with a torch.
We saw a lot of minerals, spiders, bats and stalactites.
We liked it very much. I would like to go in again!

Ayer fuimos a una cueva en la montaña. Se llamaba la Cova de la Sarsa y estaba en Bocairent (Valencia).
Nos preparamos para entrar. Nos pusimos un mono y un casco con linterna.
Vimos un montón de minerales, arañas, murciélagos y estalactitas.
Nos encantó. ¡Yo quiero volver a ir!

Yesterday I went into a cave. It was a bit scary but I liked it.
We had lunch outside the cave. The sights were marvellous. The weather was good. It was sunny. After the adventure, we took the bus and came back to the camp.
We had melon for snack. I had a shower when I came to the camp.

Comimos fuera de la cueva. Las vistas eran estupendas. Hizo buen día. Hacía sol.
Después de la aventura, cogimos el bus y volvimos al campamento.
Merendamos melón. Me duché cuando volví al campamento.

Camp Diary. Day 5.

We woke up at 8:30 and we got dressed. Then at 9 we had breakfast. We had toasts with olive oil and milk for breakfast. Also toasts with butter and pineapple juice.
When we finished breakfast we tidied up our rooms and we brushed our teeth.
After that, Amanda told us to get ready for the excursion.
We prepared a bag, the cap, the water bottle, the towel and we wore our swimsuits. Then, Celia gave us a sandwich and a banana. The sandwiches were ham and cheese or tuna fish. We got ham and cheese.
We got on the coach at around 10 and we went to our destination: Bocairent.
There we took the mountain bikes, we were 15. We rode for two hours from Bocairent to Bañeres.
In Bañeres we went to an area called El Molí de l'Ombria. There we went into a big puddle. The water was so cold, but we enjoyed it very much.

Ayer nos levantamos a las 8:30 y nos vestimos. A las 9 desayunamos. Había tostadas con aceite de oliva y leche. También tostadas con mantequilla y zumo de piña.
Después, Amanda nos dijo que nos preparáramos para la excursión.
Preparamos una mochila, la gorra, la cantimplora, la toalla y nos pusimos los bañadores. Entonces, Celia nos dio un bocata y un plátano. Los bocatas podían ser de jamón y queso o atún. Los nuestros eran de jamón y queso.
Nos subimos al autobús a las 10 aproximadamente y nos fuimos a nuestro destino: Bocairent.
Allí, cogimos las mountain bikes, éramos 15. Fuimos en bici durante dos horas, desde Bocairent hasta Bañeres. En Bañeres fuimos a una zona llamada El Molí de l'Ombria. Allí nos bañamos en una poza. El agua estaba super fría, pero nos lo pasamos genial.

At around 2:30 we had lunch. We were so hungry! The sandwich was delicious.
We stayed there for 1 hour approximately.
Then we took the bikes again and we went to a place called El Molí de Luna and El Molí de Sol.
After that we left the bikes in the same place where we had taken them in the morning and we got ready to come back to the camp.
When the bus came, the rest of the group was in, so we came back to the camp.
In the camp, we had a shower and had snack.
After that, we wrote in our notebooks. And later we played at the football pitch.

Sobre las 2:30 comimos. ¡Estábamos muertos de hambre! El bocata estaba buenísimo.
Estuvimos allí durante 1 hora aproximadamente.
Después, volvimos a coger las bicis y fuimos a un sitio llamado El Molí de Luna y el Molí de Sol.
A continuación dejamos las bicis en el mismo sitio donde las habíamos cogido por la mañana y nos preparamos para volver al campamento.
Cuando vino el autobús, el resto del grupo ya estaba dentro, así que volvimos al campamento.
Allí, nos duchamos y merendamos.
Más tarde, trabajamos en nuestros cuadernos y jugamos en el campo de fútbol.

Camp Diary. Day 4.

Yesterday we woke up and we tidied up our rooms. We made our beds and went to the dining room to have breakfast. We had toasts with jam and cinnamon cake, orange and pineapple juice and chocolate milk.

We went to our bedrooms to brush our teeth and we prepared to shot the lipdub.

We wore costumes and fancy dresses. The song is a surprise.

Then we had fideuà for lunch and watermelon for dessert.

After the free time, we did activities in the pool.

After the pool, we played cluedo in the garden. It was like a gymkhana but it was very very very funny. We had to pass many stations: pass the ball, guess the thing, do theatre and guess the word, among others.

At 8:30 we had dinner. And after dinner we watched a film in the dining room: Pitch Perfect 2. We liked it a lot. And bye bye 

ENGLISH SUMER CAMP IS COOL.

Ayer nos levantamos y ordenamos la habitación. Hicimos las camas y fuimos al comedor para desayunar. Tomamos tostadas con mermelada y coca boba de canela, zumo de naranja y piña y leche con cacao.

Nos fuimos a la habitación a lavarnos los dientes y después nos preparamos para rodar el lipdub.

Nos pusimos disfraces y nos caracterizamos de los 80. La canción es sorpresa.

Después comimos fideuà y de postre, sandía.

Después del tiempo libre, hicimos actividades en la piscina.

Después de la piscina, jugamos al cluedo en el jardín. Era como una gymkhana pero era muy muy muy divertido. Teníamos que pasar por varios puestos: pasar la pelota, adivinar qué cosa era, hacer teatro y adivinar la palabra, entre otros.

A las 8:30 cenamos. Y después de cenar vimos una película en el comedor: Dando la nota 2 (en inglés). Nos encantó. Y adiós.

I'm having a lot of fun. The activity I liked most is the mountain bike route. We went from Bocairent to Bañeres. We had lunch at El Molí de l'Ombria. It was tiring but challenging. In this camp I've made lots of new friends.

Camp Diary Day 3.

Hello, yesterday it was rainny so we couldn't go to the puddles. We had to stay inside. We had breakfast at nine. Then we had to tidy up our rooms. Later we practised the songs for the battle of bands. When we finished, we played a game "the magic card". We invented it on Tuesday. We draw the board, the cards, the die and the counters.
At 2 we had lunch. There was salad and lentils. Watermelon for dessert.
After the free time, we practised the song again. We had waffles for snack!
In the evening we played another game and we went to have dinner at 8:30.

Hola, ayer estaba lluvioso así que no pudimos ir a las pozas. Tuvimos que quedarnos a cubierto. Desayunamos a las 9. Después tuvimos que ordenar la habitación. Más tarde practicamos las canciones para la battle of bands. Cuando acabamos, jugamos a un juego "la carta mágica". Lo inventamos el martes. Hicimos el tablero, las cartas, el dado y las fichas.
A las 2 comimos. Había ensalada y lentejas. De poster, sandía.
Después del tiempo libre, volvimos a practicar la canción. ¡Merendamos gofres!

Por la tarde hicimos otro juego y fuimos a cenar a las 8:30.

I enjoyed the battle of bands very much. It is very good and a lot of fun. We got together at ten. The four teams were Spooky Cookies, Crazy Chicken, Funky Cakes and Happy Pizzas. We had to invent a song and a choreography. My group was Spooky Cookies and my monitor is John.

The prizes were:

** Best rhythm for Crazy Chicken

** Best lyrics for Spooky Cookies

** Best choreography for Funky Cakes

** Best performance for Happy Pizzas.

Me encantó la battle of bands. Fue muy divertida. Nos reunimos a las diez. Los cuatro equipos eran Spooky Cookies (Galletas espeluznantes), Crazy Chicken (Pollos locos), Funky Cakes (Pasteles "en la onda") y Happy Pizzas (Pizzas felices). Teníamos que inventar una canción con coreografía. Mi grupo éramos las Spooky Cookies y mi monitor es John.
Los premios fueron para:
** Mejor ritmo para los Crazy Chicken

** Mejor letra para los Spooky Cookies

** Mejor coreografía para los Funky Cakes

** Mejor actuación para los Happy Pizzas.

Hello mum, hello dad, I'm enjoying a lot. The thing I like most is the night games. On Monday this week, we played a game called "Lighthouse stalking" at night. Two monitors were in two circles and they had stones in the middle of their circles. We had to take the rocks. The second day in the night we played a game called "Sardines". Adam had to hide and we had to find him. When we found him we had to stay with him until we were found. I love the night games.

Hola mamá, hola papá, me lo estoy pasando muy bien. Lo que más me gusta son los juegos nocturnos. El lunes de esta semana jugamos a un juego de acecho que se llamaba "El faro". Dos monitores estaban en dos círculos y tenían piedras en medio de los círculos. Nosotros teníamos que cogerlas. El segundo día por la noche jugamos a un juego llamado "Sardinas". Adam se escondía y teníamos que encontrarle. Si le encontrábamos, nos quedábamos con él escondidos, hasta que nos encontraran. Me encantan los juegos nocturnos.
